Eittek digital cameras(EK-DC123): Is it a Digital Camera or a PDA or Watch

The Eittek digital cameras - EK-DC123 is not more then a wrist watch but comes with a digital camera too. It has a memory of 512 kb and one could take 25 images at one go. This watch is also a PDA. The watch has a 4K color LCD with a 160 x 120 pixel display and captures images at the same resolution. When connected to the PC using the serial cable provided, images can be captured at the same resolution, but at 65 colors.

The Sony Cybershot model is easy to use, faster in taking pictures and auto focus is just great. It has got 256 mb card and is suitable to take 140 pictures. LCD screen is awesome. Docking is quick with USB 2.0. The battery is fully charged within 3 hours.

[u]Cons[/u]:
Battery sometimes falls when you open the compartment. The front lense cover lacks locking system. The camera does not comes with its own case.

Overall the camera is good and a must buy.

Olympus has announced the [b]Olympus mju Digital 500 [/b]in UK for a price of £280. 5.0 million pixel µ (mju) DIGITAL 500 goes inline with its successful mju series. The new model of digital camera has smooth retracting lens barrier which seems promising and the slick silver metal color body looks very appealing.

The most eye catching feature is extra-large Hyper Crystal LCD monitor, with a dimention of 6.5 cm / 2.5 inches, it provides a very good images for the photos. The tecnology is very advanced and providesminimum color variations through out its 215,00 pixels. With a response time of 25 ms the blurring of images is ruled out in these digital cameras.

Video footage could also be captured but is very much dependent on the availability of memory on card. It allows direct printing with printers without transferring it in PC which reduces much pain in the process. This could be only done with compatible printers only. The others are rechargeable batteries and charger, underwater case that protect digital cameras upto a depth of 40 meters.
